How this actually works
This tutor runs in two layers, and both are genuinely free — no API key, no account, no cost to you.
Layer 1 is a curated knowledge base built from this course's own content across all 12 modules, searched with a real text-matching algorithm (TF-IDF-style scoring) that runs entirely in your browser.
Layer 2 (AI-Enhanced, toggle below) takes the top curriculum matches Layer 1 finds and asks a free, keyless AI model (via
Puter.js) to turn them into a more natural, conversational answer — strictly grounded in that retrieved content, not free-associating. If the AI layer is slow, unavailable, or turned off, every answer instantly falls back to Layer 1's direct curriculum match instead of guessing or failing silently.
